TantraDev started in 2019 with a frustration: the agency market was a sea of marketing-led shops selling decks, then quietly subcontracting the actual code to whoever was cheapest that month. Founders paid premium rates and got junior output. Enterprises paid even more and got it slower.
We started small — three engineers, one client, one promise: every line of code that ships under our name is written by someone with at least 5 years of experience and skin in the game. No bait-and-switch, no offshore juniors, no account managers wedged between you and the team building your software.
Seven years later, we're an 18-person team. We've shipped 55+ products, including 4 of our own. We've worked with bootstrapped founders, Series A FinTechs, hospital networks, EdTech platforms used by 100K+ learners, and government agencies that won't let us name them.
The promise hasn't changed: we're the engineering team you'd hire if you could clone yourself, working alongside you in your time zone, on your codebase, with your name on the commit log.
Four things we'll never negotiate on
These aren't marketing copy. They're what we tell every new client on the first call — and what we measure ourselves against.
Senior engineers only
Every project is staffed with engineers averaging 7+ years of experience. No juniors, no contractors-of-contractors. The person who scopes your project is the person who ships it.
Ship in week 2, not month 2
We don't sell discovery sprints. Week 1 is requirements + architecture. Week 2 is code. You see working software in your inbox by sprint 1, every project, no exceptions.
Treat your code like our code
Tests, CI/CD, docs, monitoring, and a clean handover are non-negotiable. We've inherited too many codebases written like the engineer was paid by the line. We don't write those.
Disagree, then commit
If your spec has a flaw, we tell you on day 1. If you still want it that way after we've shared the data, we ship what you asked for. Senior engineering means having opinions and respecting yours.

Crossed 20 long-term clients. Opened first dedicated office at 41 Evoke, Ravet.

First international engagement — UK SaaS startup, scaled to enterprise customers.

Crossed 30 products shipped. Launched first owned product (CDLY).

Engineering team grew past 15. Three concurrent owned products in market.

55+ products shipped milestone. Expanded into AI/ML and FinTech compliance work.
