Kharadi is the eastern end of Pune's IT map, and it is built at a different scale from the west. EON Free Zone's SEZ blocks, the World Trade Center towers, Gera Commerzone and the Zensar campus sit within a few minutes of each other along the Kharadi Bypass, between Nagar Road at the top and the Mula-Mutha and the Mundhwa bridge at the bottom. The tenants are mostly large captives, GCCs and MNC back-office operations — banking and insurance operations, shared services, engineering centres — with security desks, gate passes and a procurement process between you and the person who actually owns the system.

That shapes what software work is bought here. Very little of it is a blank-page consumer app. It is usually one of five things. An internal platform that has to talk to a system of record. An application built years ago on a framework nobody wants to hire for any more. A portal for partners or field staff sitting on top of an existing core. A release train that needs real test automation instead of a manual regression pass. Or a roadmap that has approval but no internal headcount to staff it. The buyer is usually a delivery head, an engineering manager or an IT lead inside a much larger organisation, and the work has to survive their architecture review, their security questionnaire and their auditors.

The honest part: getting from Ravet to Kharadi means crossing the whole city. Either down through Aundh, University Chowk, Bund Garden and Kalyani Nagar, or up over Nashik Phata and along Nagar Road past the airport and Viman Nagar. Both are 30-35 km and both are an hour or more in evening traffic. We are not going to describe that as a short drive. Kharadi engagements run remote-first — same city, same working day, standups and reviews on a call — with on-site visits grouped and booked ahead: kickoff and discovery, architecture review, UAT, go-live support. For integration, modernisation and QA work, where most of the day is spent in code, logs and other people's API contracts, that arrangement is not a compromise; it is how these projects run even when the vendor is two floors down.

We serve the wider east side from the same base — Mundhwa and Keshav Nagar on the river side, Wagholi further out on the Ahmednagar highway, Viman Nagar and Chandan Nagar to the north, Hadapsar and Magarpatta across the bridge.
